Thanks for dropping by you huak restaur...Hi ellena. Thanks for dropping by you huak restaurant for dinner. With much appreciation, I would like to thank you for posting a review on the restaurant. This definitely helps in the business. And do let me clarify with the taste and texture of the meat and seafood roll aka "蝦棗"xia zao. I will have to agree with you that the texture is dry compare to others. Reason is that we uses the finest ingredient to prepare this homemade roll and before frying it, we actually steam it to allow the gravy confine with the roll, giving a aroma fragrance to the dish. As for the salty part, it could be due to two reason. One would be the beancurd skin( beancurd skin are salty) or the gravy from the roll is spread all over.
